Government platforms serve everyone. This project brought Dark Mode to the Canton of Aargau's digital presence improving accessibility, reducing eye strain, and ensuring a consistent experience across all devices.

A dark surface is created by placing a semi-transparent overlay on top of the colored surface.
Elevation
In the dark theme, components have the same shadow levels as in the light theme. The difference lies in the brightness of the surfaces depending on their depth. The higher a surface is, the brighter it appears. This is achieved using a semi-transparent color overlay.
